MapZap App Reviews

8 Customer Reviews:

just saves a screenshot to your Desktop… useless app… whole thing can be done without paying any money: open your favorite map-app (Apple Maps, Google Maps, whatever) in full-screen-mode and press CMD+SHIFT+3; rightclick your desktop and change the background...

Always shown “files doenn’t exist” when you try to save the map to the desktop.

It always shown “files doenn’t exist” when you try to save the map to the desktop after the recent update. The whole software is worthless !!!!!

This COULD be a really cool application. If it allowed you to add photos and actually make a desktop picture. 「ファイルを保存できない」のメッセージがいつもあるので、何もできません。残念ですが、使えません。 Please update this application. I am sure it will be great.

Interesting

I really like this app. The only issue I could find is that it doesn’t work when in full screen mode.

I’m not saying everyone would or should share my opinion, but this app was a waste of 1.99 for me. I’m not sure what I was expecting from Mapzap, but it didn’t deliver. Way to confusing and frustrating to use.

Our ministry has workers all over the world. I wanted to create a desktop that would show their locations and be a visual reminder. This app does not work properly. I positioned pictures and saved to my desktop, only to find that the photos were overlapping and in the wrong location. I only wish there was a no star option in the rating system.

I like having a map as my desktop background. This app performs a simple task, and for a couple of dollars it’s worth it. If I were to request a feature, it would be to allow me to create an archive of maps somewhere (Photos? iCloud?) so I can bring them up later or share them or something like that.
